Early Visit from Santa

Santa stopped by for a quick visit this past Tuesday night. Ty had been sick with horrible congestion and our visitor certainly perked him up for a few minutes. Ty has been asking for a backhoe and a bulldozer for quite sometime now. He got a small bulldozer from Santa on Tuesday night, and I could tell he wasn't very enthused about it. Later, when I asked him if he liked it, he said, "But I wanted a big bulldozer." Well.....maybe Santa will come through for him in a few weeks.

The whole time Santa was here, Ty was more worried about seeing the sleigh and the reindeer. He kept going to the window and looking out. He kept asking where they were. Santa was really good. He talked to Ty about how important it was to mind his mommy and daddy, and even told him that it was Jesus's birthday, and that was the real reason we celebrate Christmas. We thought he did a really good job!

Andrew on the other hand, didn't even know Santa was in the house. He just looked up at him like, oh, it's you. Anyway, here are a few of the pictures.

Two sweet boys...I can't wait to meet my one! So glad Santa was a hit at your house. RG is still not fond of anything dressed up in a suit like that. I did that when she was three and she completely went into orbit (screaming and crying) when he walked in the house.

What a neat visit! That's a good idea with Santa coming early and talking to the kids about Christmas. Ty looks like he's taking it all in!

Jack is crazy for backhoes and bulldozers too. He has some little ones but he's kind of over them. He wants the real thing now!! Glad to see that Ty enjoyed Santa's visit! Hope he feels better soon!!

What a cute idea! I hate to hear that Ty is battling with congestion. Anna has had her fair share of it also. We are now on two types of asthma and allergy meds trying to dry it all up. The drastically affect her personality and energy level. I will be glad when we can get off of them. Tell Ty I hope Santa is good to him and Andrew! Merry Christmas!

Great pictures!!! Your little one looks like he has grown a foot since the last picture you posted of him. We may come through Andalusia this next summer on our way to the beach. If so, maybe we can come by to see him in person.
