Yummy Blueberry Muffins

Last week one morning, Ty woke up with blueberry muffins on his mind. We had a good time together baking in the kitchen. I am so thankful I have the summers home with Ty. While we were busy baking, he looked at me and said, "Mommy, I glad you don't have to go to school." It melted my heart. I thought to myself, if he only knew.... it is so nice not to have to get up and get us going so early. I love our leisure mornings at home.

I agree Mendy! NOTHING can replace those precious moments with your children. Time passes so very quickly and you can't get it back! By-the-way, the muffins do look yummy. That is one of the few things John Luke will eat. Do you make your's from scratch?

Little boys are so much fun!! It's sweet that Ty realizes how grateful he is to have you home this summer. Where is our vacation going?? It's flying by!!

PS- I like your red couch. Dave wants to get a red one for our new house.

Of course I make them from scratch Beth! I can't believe you would think otherwise....No, not really. I think you can see the package on the counter. Martha White Muffin Mix. I'm for quick and easy right now. Maybe one day, we'll get smart and bake from scratch!!!

Mandi-
About the couch, thanks! I have really enjoyed it, especially with Ty. It's Microfiber and cleans up very easily. A definite plus when you have kids.
