Lemonade & Fuzzy Caterpillars

The weather couldn't have been better this weekend!! And, we've spent as much time as we possibly could outside enjoying it!! From playing in the sandbox, to cleaning out the pool. Ty loves a good dig in the sand. I even got out there and enjoyed it with him. Those of you that know Ty, know how vivid an imagination he has. He has several imaginary friends that we always take along with us wherever we go. So, Ty, me, George, Uncle Dewey, Uncle Davey, Peyton, and Zazy had a blast in the sandbox Friday and Saturday. Ty spent hours making cakes and lemonade in the sand. He has a CountryTime lemonade container that he plays with in the sand, so we had lots of good 'ole lemonade. Ty and Ben also came upon lots of fuzzy caterpillars right near his sandbox. As you'll see in the pictures, he and the worms hit it off at first sight. Well, at least Ty loved them. I don't know if they really loved him or not. He had to bring his "sister" in to see me. Little did he know, he had already squeezed the little worm to death. When I threw him away, he said, "Mom, don't throw my sister away, he's my little sister!" Needless to say, he dug threw the garbage to get his "sister" out. Oh, the joys of having little boys!!! Here are some of the pictures of Ty doing what he does best.... just being a little boy....hope you like the pictures.

Ty with his new-found fuzzy friends.

Ben started working on cleaning out the pool and the flowerbeds around the pool. I love this time of year when we can get outside and get the yards and flowers looking good. Had to get one of Ben getting the pool chairs cleaned up.
